Christine Cain joined the Self Graduate Fellowship as the Program Coordinator in June of 2018. She is responsible for recruiting qualified applicants to attend KU for gradaute school, managing the Self Graduate Fellowship and Self Memorial Scholarship selection process, communicating with academic departments, and maintaining the department’s online and social media presence.

Christine received her master’s degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2016 with a specialization in the domain of social/cultural and civic analysis of higher education. She also received a bachelor’s degree in English, creative writing, with a business administration minor from Creighton University in 2013.

Christine has previously lived and worked in Iowa, Nebraska, New York, Texas, and Kansas. Her favorite thing to do since coming to Kansas has been exploring the diverse food scene that Lawrence has to offer!
