Joyce Seals  is a 2015-2019 Self Graduate Fellow pursuing a Ph.D. in geology. She received B.A. (2007) in anthropology from Binghamton University, Binghamton, New York, and M.S. (2014) in geology from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez, Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. Joyce Seals is the current secretary of the Osage Chapter of the Association for Women in the Geosciences, and co-organizer of Explorations in Archaeology, a lecture series hosted by the KU Anthropology Department.
