Doctoral Fellowships for tomorrow's leaders

Self Graduate Fellowship Recruitment Enhancement Support

The Self Graduate Fellowship is interested in supporting enhancements to department/program recruitment strategies with potential for nominations of students to the Self Graduate Fellowship. Proposals will be reviewed based on the quality of the plan submitted, and the likelihood of recruiting the highest quality of applicants and increasing the number of students from outside KU.

Support of up to $5,000 is available to SGF-eligible departments/programs for 2017-2018. Additional funds may be available, depending on the number of proposals received. Information to be included in an "SGF Recruitment Enhancement Support Request" is listed below.

The Self Graduate Fellowship will work closely with faculty/staff and departments/programs that receive recruitment support regarding the inclusion of potential students in the Prospect system and follow-up with prospective applicants.

Departments/programs that receive support for 2017-2018 recruitment activities will be asked to report on the activities, the results, and the impact on the department/program recruiting capabilities.

Deadline: September 1, 2018
