Summary

Travis Edwards is a 2019-2023 Self Graduate Fellow pursuing a Ph.D. in economics at the University of Kansas. He received a B.S. (2019) in economics from the University of Texas at Tyler. His research focuses on developing a better understanding of the relationship between economic growth and environmental degradation, with the intention of implementing effective public policy addressing global environmental concerns. Previously, he worked in the health and safety industry and served as a medic in the military. After finishing his doctoral study, Edwards plans on being a researcher in academia, government, or a non-profit research institute.
