Andrew Dodge

Andrew Dodge is a 2024-2025 Self Memorial Scholar pursuing an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering. Andrew earned his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering in 2024 from the University of Kansas, graduating in just three years and being selected as the outstanding senior of the Aerospace Engineering department. During his time as an undergraduate, Andrew participated in research under Dr. Shawn Keshmiri and served as the Chief Engineer for KU's AIAA Design, Build, Fly team while earning numerous honors for his performance in the classroom. Andrew plans to continue doing research in the field of guidance and control of unmanned aerial systems and he is particularly interested in the application of these topics in supersonic and hypersonic vehicles. Andrew hopes to use his research to contribute to the use of autonomy for the national defense effort.
