Andrew Riachi

Andrew Riachi is a 2023-2024 Self Memorial Scholar pursuing an M.S. in Computer Science at the University of Kansas. He has a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Kansas. In industry, he has been a data networking assistant at KU IT, a low-level software engineering intern at Garmin, and a software engineering intern at Niobrara Research and Development. In academia, he has been an undergraduate research assistant for the Information and Smart Systems Laboratory and the KU Advanced Reconfigurable and Quantum Computing research group. In 2023, he was selected as the Outstanding Senior in Computer Engineering. Andrew wants to use his graduate education to make the world a better place by improving the performance and reliability of low-level software systems.
