Ava Lemon

Ava Lemon is a 2024-2025 Self Memorial Scholar pursuing a master's degree in Accounting. She received a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Finance from The University of Kansas in May 2024. In her undergraduate career, Ava served as a peer mentor for new school of business students and was a teaching assistant for Accounting 201 (Introduction to Managerial Accounting). She was an active member in The Jack Dicus Business Honors Program and president of her sorority, Chi Omega. Her interests include data visualization, corporate social responsibility, and environmental social governance initiatives. In the future, Ava hopes to obtain her CPA license and explore her interests at a large public accounting firm, helping corporations and individuals make informed financial decisions.
