Clarice Sabolay

Clarice Sabolay is a 2024-2025 Self Memorial Scholar pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. She earned a B.S. in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering with an emphasis in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Kansas in 2024. Clarice conducted research under Dr. Mark Shiflett throughout her undergraduate career and plans to continue to work with him to separate hydrofluorocarbon refrigerant mixtures for their recycling. Her passion for research earned her a spot as an Undergraduate Research Fellow from 2023-2024, and an Undergraduate Research Award in the summer of 2023. After completing her Ph.D., Clarice plans to use her skills and commitment to research to further innovate in her field.
