Biography —
Connor Sullivan is a 2025–2029 Self Graduate Fellow pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Kansas. His research focuses on the intersection of computer architecture and real-time systems, with the goal of developing hardware IPs that enhance safety while effectively leveraging the parallelism in modern embedded platforms to also support efficiency. Originally from Overland Park, Kansas, Connor earned a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Music from the University of Kansas. He currently works under the guidance of Dr. Heechul Yun in the Cyber-Physical Systems Lab. His work aims to bridge academic research and real-world implementation in autonomous and safety-critical technologies, with a particular focus on addressing challenges posed by heterogeneous multi-core platforms in real-time systems, as identified by organizations such as CAST.
