Biography

Curtis McLennan is a 2023-2027 Self Graduate Fellow pursuing his Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Kansas. He holds a B.S. in Physics and Applied Mathematics from Wheaton College (IL). His research focuses on a pathfinder experiment called the Radio Echo Telescope to detect ultra-high neutrinos. Neutrinos play a key role in understanding certain astrophysical processes and also are the only observed particle with beyond-the-standard model properties. He hopes that his research will open new doors to discoveries waiting just around the corner.
