Edona Kraja

Donna Kraja is a 2024–2025 Self Memorial Scholar pursuing a Master of Accounting. She earned a B.S. in Accounting and International Studies from the University of Kansas in May 2025. During her undergraduate career, she served as a Teaching Assistant, Business Writing Coach, Tax Intern for Student Legal Services, Program Coordinator, and Senior Analyst for the Rock Chalk Investment Club. Donna also served as Director of Alumni Relations for the Student Alumni and Endowment Board and completed a summer internship with Ernst & Young in New York.

As a graduate student, Donna will continue her engagement by working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for business writing courses. She speaks five languages—English, Montenegrin, Serbo-Croatian, Albanian, and German—which enriches her global perspective and cross-cultural communication skills. In the future, Donna plans to pursue a career in transaction advisory or economic policy, with a long-term goal of serving as a policymaker in Montenegro.
