Gentry Totta-Griese

Gentry Totta-Griese is a 2023-2027 Self Graduate Fellow. She is from Fulton, Missouri, and attended MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, KS where she obtained a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Chemistry. She is currently a member of the Sensory Nerve Disorder Lab where she is utilizing a primary murine dorsal root ganglion in vitro system to investigate the underlying mechanism of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy. She is also interested in understanding the metabolic impact on peripheral nerve health. Gentry is passionate about expanding her knowledge of neuroscience to develop better treatment options as well as providing science mentorship and training within the community.
