Kaitlyn Hinz

Kaitlyn Hinz is a 2024-2028 Self Graduate Fellow pursuing a Ph.D in Toxicology at The University of Kansas Medical Center. She graduated from Drury University in December 2020 with a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience and a B.A. in Chemistry with a minor in Psychology. Her graduate research revolves around elucidating the mechanisms of Alcohol-associated Liver Disease to better understand the disease and its progression, along with therapeutic targets. Her long-term goal is to work in pharmaceutical development while advocating for industry changes and providing scientific mentorship to the community.
