Biography —
Kundana Dongala is a 2026–2027 SELF Memorial Scholar pursuing a dual Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Business Analytics at the University of Kansas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, along with a Cybersecurity Certificate, in May 2026 and has developed a strong interest in leveraging technology and data to solve complex business challenges. As a Software Developer Intern at BVM Technology Associates, she contributed to the development of enterprise software solutions, collaborated with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, and gained experience translating technical requirements into impactful business outcomes. These experiences strengthened her passion for analytics, innovation, and the strategic use of technology to improve organizational performance.
Kundana has demonstrated a commitment to leadership, mentorship, and student development through her involvement at KU. As President of the Society of Women Engineers, she led initiatives that expanded professional development opportunities, strengthened industry connections, and fostered a supportive community for engineering students. She also helped organize the Infrastructure as Code Workshop, providing students with hands-on exposure to cloud computing, automation, and DevOps technologies. Following completion of her MBA and MS in Business Analytics, Kundana plans to pursue a career that bridges the gap between technology and business, helping organizations leverage data-driven insights, solve complex challenges, and turn innovative ideas into meaningful impact.
