Lisa Hoang

Lisa Hoang is a 2024-2025 Self Memorial Scholar pursuing a Master's in Social Welfare (MSW) at the University of Kansas through the advanced standing master program and currently holds a Bachelor's in Social Welfare (BSW) from the University of Kansas. During her undergraduate degree, Hoang completed her practicum and worked as a housing case manager at Our Spot KC. She will complete her master's level practicum at Clinical Counseling Associates of Kansas City and aspires to become a License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She is passionate about mental health and aspires to work with serveral underserved populations such as immigrants and the LGBTQA+ population.
