Nick Niemann

Nicholas Niemann is a 2024-2025 Self Memorial Scholar pursuing a Master's of Business Administration. He received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas in May 2024, where he was also a SELF Engineering Scholar. During his undergraduate career, Nicholas worked at the University of Kansas as an Engineering Thermodynamics Teaching Assistant and held multiple internships, including positions at Burns & McDonnell, PRX Performance, and Hawkinson Inc. Nicholas has been actively involved on campus as a Student Senate Engineering Representative, a Case Competition Information Systems Specialist, and co-founder of Days With Jays, a 501-C3 nonprofit organization. His interests include engineering design, project management, and the intersection of engineering and business entrepreneurship. He aims to expand on these interests in his MBA program and use his skills to drive innovation and strategic growth in engineering and business sectors.
