Biography

Raechel Camones is a 2025-2029 Self Graduate Fellow pursuing a Ph.D in Neuroscience at The University of Kansas Medical Center. She graduated from Missouri Western State University in 2021 with a B.S. in Biology Health Science. The plan for her graduate research is to examine the feasibility and effect of non-pharmacological interventions on Alzheimer’s disease prevention. She is currently working with multiple clinical trials to examine both exercise and heat therapy as potential interventions. Her long-term goal is to start a business to advance the field of regenerative medicine and revolutionize the current medical care system.
