Biography

Taylor Doyle is a 2026–2027 Self Memorial Scholar pursuing an M.S. in Digital and Integrated Marketing Communications at the University of Kansas. She earned bachelor’s degrees in political science, multimedia journalism, and global and international studies, with a minor in leadership studies, graduating in May 2026, with distinction in Liberal Arts and Sciences, the highest distinction in Journalism, and honors in global and international studies. Additionally, Taylor was a University Honors student, a Global Scholar, and participated in the U.N. Millennium Fellowship.

Since 2022, Taylor has worked at the KU Center for Digital Inclusion on a grant–funded project to develop technology education for justice-involved women, and she will continue this work full-time as the Center’s Research Project Specialist. In this role, she leads and supports educational content development, digital skills instruction, and conducts research that advances community-based technology education.

Her work includes multiple projects on social media and digital communication, as well as an honors thesis, ‘Clean Curriculum: Sexual and Reproductive Health Education in Bangladesh’s Secondary Schools,’ analyzing how sexuality education is constructed in Bangladeshi curricula and what that reveals about global debates on gender and youth.

Through her interdisciplinary training, long-term work at the Center for Digital Inclusion, and leadership in research and media, Taylor is committed to advancing equitable education systems and using communication to support justice-involved and marginalized communities.
