Zach Misic

Zachary Misic is a 2023-2024 Self Memorial Scholar pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Kansas. He currently holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Computing, focusing on Biology from the University of Kansas. Additionally, he was a Self Engineering Leadership Fellow from the Fall of 2019 to the Spring of 2023, as well as being involved with the KU student chapter of ACM. Zach’s goal in his graduate pursuits is to explore the intersection of neuroscience and computation, emphasizing on the budding technology of brain-computer interfaces. One day, he hopes to have a hand in technologies that can ameliorate the conditions of those with neurological injuries or illnesses.
